CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Vino Varietale D'Italia
Testing Note
This wine is bright ruby red in color, with aromas of cherry, black cherry, and subtle floral notes. Medium-bodied, savoury, and smooth, it pairs well with red meat dishes, white meats, and soft to medium-aged cheeses. It can also be paired with several Indian dishes.
SOIL
Abruzzo's geographical diversity plays a pivotal role in its wine production. The juxtaposition of the Adriatic coastline with the Apennine mountain range creates a diverse microclimate. This, in tandem with the region's varied soil composition rich in clay, limestone, and unique minerals provides an ideal environment for grape cultivation.
CLIMATE
The climate is rather mild on the Apennine side facing the Adriatic, more continental than of the internal basins. Abruzzo is known for its varied climate, so there is ample rainfall and sunshine, as well as an arid climate on its coast and a continental climate inland.
